This sweet set of vintage gold keys spells out ‘I LOVE YOU’ with each of the letters on the bottom of each key. We think they may likely be a symbol of a 'key to your heart' - such a romantic charm to give to your loved one, or to gift to yourself as a reminder to love yourself too!
The charm is made of 9ct gold, with each of the keys (except one, the 'U' key) hallmarked for 9ct gold. The 'L' key has full British hallmarks for 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'V' for 1970. There is also a maker's mark but this is now hard to make out fully.
The charm weighs approx 3.5g in total, a good weight for a charm of this style, and each key measures approx 18mm tall (not includin the ring that all of the keys connect to) by approx 6.2mm wide. Including the ring at the top that the keys all connect to, the charm measures approx 28mm tall (not including the jump ring). The 'U' key is a little larger than the other keys, measuring approx 19.2mm tall.
Condition - the charm is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age and wear including some light surface wear to the gold. The gold ring that all of the keys connect to looks to have been repaired at some point in time. We think the 'U' key is a later addition (perhaps the original 'U' key was lost) as the style at the top of the key is very slightly different and the key is ever so slightly larger than the others. It also isn't hallmarks like the others, but does test as 9ct gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos

Items sent outside of the UK are sent via Royal Mail's International signed for service, which offers insurance for up to £250 and tracking.
