We love searching for antique and vintage charms as you just never know what you're going to find next. Like this unusual vintage gold toilet charm! Incredibly detailed, the lid and toilet seat are hinged and lift up and down separately too.
The charm is made of 9ct gold with British hallmarks on the toilet lid for the maker 'C.J.M', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'S' for 1967. The back of the base of the toilet is also hallmarked for 9ct gold.
The charm weighs approx 4.7g and measures approx 12mm tall by 16mm deep (not including the jump ring) by approx 12mm wide.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age and wear, including light surface wear to the gold. The hinge mechanism still works well. The toilet seat is quite firm to lift but the lid opens easily so it can open and close when worn. The gold jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
