How lovely are these miniature vintage gold gardening shears!? Not only is the charm two tones of gold, both rose and white gold to highlight the blades against the handles, but the charm also moves like a real pair of shears too! It would be perfect for someone who's green fingered, perhaps a gardener or veggie grower.
The charm is made of 9ct rose and white gold with British hallmarks on the blades for the maker 'A&W', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'P' for 1964.
The charm measurse approx 26.5mm tall by approx 16mm wide when the handles are pushed closed (not including the jump ring) by approx 2.8mm deep. The charm weighs approx 1.7g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. The ring and jump ring are slightly yellower in gold tone than the rose gold handles. The blades cross over slightly when pushed fully closed. The blades/handles also do move on their own so do open when worn.. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
