What a perfect wearable reminder to always be your own knight in shining armor! This vintage gold knight's helmet charm is a rare one to find. It’s wonderfully detailed throughout and even opens to reveal a hidden surprise inside. 
 
The helmet opens to reveal a miniature knight riding a gold horse, the knight even has some red enamel detailing to it. 
 
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks to the back of charm for the famous charm maker 'Nuvo', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'P' for 1964. 
 
The charm weighs approx 5.4g and measures approx 20.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.8mm wide by approx 15.8mm deep. 
 
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold throughout. There is also some surface wear and enamel loss in places to the knight inside. The enamel has worn away in places to show the gold underneath. The hinge still works well and the charm clicks closed The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
