We love how proudly this vintage gold cat is sitting. It has wonderful details throughout, right down to its cute little face and fur lines.
It's a lovely weighty one too - it's unusual to find this style of charm made of solid gold so it has a lovely weight to it of over 4g. Often similar looking charms are much more lightweight as they are hollow in the centre. It can even sit upright on its own too due the flat base.
The charm is made of solid 9ct gold and has British hallmarks to the back for the maker 'D&F', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'N' for 1962.
The charm weighs approx 4.25g and measures approx 18.3mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 9.8mm wide by approx 5.1mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some light signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. There is a small notch to the cat's neck to the right hand side when looking at the charm (to the left hand side of the cat's neck) that looks to be from when the charm was made by casting. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
