The best thing about vintage and antique charms is that you never know what you're going to find next. This vintage, 1960s gold flying fish charm was a complete surprise!

If you dream of a flying fish, it's said to be a symbol of good luck so we like to think this little fishy could be someone's good luck charm!

The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks on the underside of the body for 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'N' for 1962. The top of one of the wings is marked for the maker 'PPLD'.

The charm measures approx 17.3mm long mouth to tail (not including the jump ring or ring fitting) by approx 19.8mm wide (wingspan) by approx 3.8mm deep and weighs approx 1.6g.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
