Here's what's inside box twelve of our 12 Days of Christmas (or Charm-mas if you will!) Advent Calendar... a vintage 1960s gold and enamel moving dancing charm - just look at how high they kick their legs when you move the lever at the back! The charm is available at the special festive discounted price until 6pm GMT on 13th December 2024 too.
The charm is wonderfully detailed throughout, from the curtains to the tiny little dancers. We love that the charm has movement too, just wiggle the lever at the back up and down to make the dancers' legs high kick! The charm also has some wonderful enamel too although this is now a little worn. It reminds us of the famous New York radio City Rockettes.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has british hallmarks to the back for the maker 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'f' for 1961.
The charm measures approx 15.1mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13.1mm wide by approx 5.3mm deep (not including the lever) and weighs approx 2.9g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold and enamel. Some of the enamel has now worn in places. The moving mechanism still works well. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
