This vintage gold opening record player charm would be perfect for a music lover, or a singer or musician! When worn closed up, it looks like a little unassuming gold box but opens to reveal a tiny gold vinyl record and tone arm inside.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and does have British hallmarks to the outside. These marks are now almost fully worn away but the 9ct gold mark can just about be made out. We think the charm likely dates to the 1960s.
The charm weighs approx 2.6g and measures (when closed) approx 14mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 12mm wide by approx 5mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold. The hinge still works well and the charm closes with a light click. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
