We can't help but think of spring when we look at this vintage gold little chick charm - how sweet is this charm!?
The charm is made of 9ct gold, with British hallmarks to one side. These are now quite worn and hard to read, but the maker's mark 'WHC' is just about visible. There would have also been a 9ct gold mark, assay mark and a date letter. It's hard to date the charm exactly as these marks are now worn away but we think the charm is likely circa 1960s in age. The charm has lovely detailing throughout and is hollow in the middle.
The charm weighs approx 0.9g and measures approx 15.9mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 15mm wide by approx 9.1mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age, including surface wear to the gold and a little rubbing in places. There are some small dings to the gold on the side where the hallmarks are. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
