Here's what's inside box ten of our 12 Days of Christmas (or Charm-mas if you will!) Advent Calendar... a vintage gold opening sweet shop charm! The charms is available at the special discounted price until we open box 11 at 6pm GMT (11th December 2023) too.
This charm is incredibly well detailed, right down to a tiny bay window and one end of the shop that reads 'YE OLDE SWEET SHOPPE'. We can't help but think it would fit in well along the street in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The inside is as lovely as the outside too, opening to reveal a tiny shop counter and what looks to be a lady and a child stood either side.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'L' for 1960. The bottom of the charm also has the Nuvo maker's mark.
The charm measures approx 12.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13.1mm wide by approx 8.2mm deep and weighs approx 2.55g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold. The hinge still works well and the charm clicks closed. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

Items sent outside of the UK are sent via Royal Mail's International signed for service, which offers insurance for up to £250 and tracking.
