We can't help but fall in love with charms that move and this vintage gold cuckoo clock charm has two different moving parts! When the lever at the bottom of the clock is pushed forward and back, the tiny little bird pops in and out of the clock. There is also a small gold lever on the back of the charm that moves the clock hands when turned too!
The clock itself is also wonderfully detailed throughout and even has tiny gold leaf decoration to the front.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks on one side for 9ct gold, Birmingham and what looks to be the date letter 'J' for 1958 (this mark is a little hard to make out clearly). The other side of the charm was hallmarked with a maker's mark but this is now too worn to read.
The charm measures approx 23.8mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13.9mm wide by approx 6.9mm deep and the charm weighs approx 4g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold. Both moving mechanisms still work well. The jump ring is currently pushed closed.
*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
