We love a moving charm and this vintage gold till/cash register has a little hidden surprise! When the lever is moved, the till drawer pops out, complete with tiny compartments. Not only that but the top of the till has a little heart and says '4 sale' afterwards, meaning love for sale!
The charm is wonderfully detailed throughout, even the back has a beautiful pattern to it. The charm is made of 9ct gold and is marked '9ct' to the bottom. Without further marks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but given its style and 9ct gold mark, we think it was likely made in the 1950s.
The charm measures approx 14.5mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 8.7mm wide by approx 9.8mm deep when the drawer is closed and weighs approx 3.55g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age and wear including some light surface wear to the gold. Please note that the lever/opening drawer movement can move on its own when worn as the lever only needs a little nudge to open the drawer. The drawer closes by being pushed back in and stays closed when the lever is clicked fully up back in place. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
