These vintage spinner charms are such fun pieces of jewellery. With parts of a secret message engraved onto each side of the disc, the full message is only revealed when the charm is spun!
This particular charm has parts of the message 'WHY WORRY' engraved on to each side, a rarer message to find as more often they read 'I LOVE YOU' or 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'.
The charm is made of 9ct gold, the frame has British hallmarks for the maker 'O'C', 9ct gold and what looks to be a date letter 'T' we cannot see an assay mark so it's hard to date the charm exactly. The 9ct gold mark pre dates 1975 and we believe the charm likely dates to the 1950s or 60s.
The charm weighs approx 1.15g in total and measures approx 16mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 15mm wide. The disc measures approx 13mm in diameter.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold. The frame is sill in good shape too so the disc can spin freely. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos
*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
