Said to represent the past, present and future, trilogy rings make great engagement rings as they encapsulate all stages of a relationship. This lovely Art Deco trilogy ring feaures an emerald and two diamonds, making it the perfect choice for someone after a slightly more unusual ring.
The stones are set in 18ct yellow gold that has a 18ct white gold wash to the top. The ring's shank is made from 18ct yellow gold, which is hallmarked '18ct' on the inside of the shank.
The face of the ring is approx 10mm by 5.5mm and the ring's shank measures approx 1mm wide at the back. The ring weighs approx 1.5g.
Ring size - UK J 1/2 / US 5
Condition - The ring is in good antique condition but it does show signs of age and wear. The gold has light surface scratches and under close magnification the emerald is nibbled in places. Please note that the diamonds in this ring are very small. They are set in white gold which is patterned to give the illusion that they are bigger than they really are, a trick used during this period to keep the price of gemstones used to a minimum.
