We think this delicate gold, turquoise and seed pearl flower first started life as an antique stickpin and at some point in time, it's been lovingly converted into a ring. We wish we knew it's full story, was it gifted to a lover, was it passed down through generations, but we guess it's sometimes fun to keep a little mystery!
The ring is made of yellow gold (unhallmarked but tests as 9ct) and the gold flower sits atop the band, studded with 10 seed pearls of varying sizes and two small turquoise cabochons which add a lovely pop of colour. The flower measures approx 13.1mm wide by approx 11mm tall and sits approx 2.5mm high off the ring band. The shank measures approx 0.9mm wide. The ring weighs approx 0.9g in total.
Ring size - approx a US 5.5 / approx a UK K 1/2
Condition - The ring is in good condition with some light surface wear to the gold, seed pearls and turquoise. There is some glue visible under close magnification to one of the seed pearls as it looks as if it could be a replacement or has been refixed in place. Please see photos for more details. We recommend removing this ring when showering/swimming as it should not come into contact with water or lotions as this could loosen/damage the stones.
*Please note the antique boxes pictured are not included in the sale but the ring will be shipped in a new presentation ring box and pouch*
