Here at Kate Gold we love an antique statement ring, and this ring fits the bill perfectly - it's definitely a show stopper!
Featuring a florwer made up of four coral cabochons and five tiny diamonds, the ring's face is a dome which has been enammelled in a bright, vivid shade of blue.
The ring isn't hallmarked, but it tests as at least 9ct gold (We believe it's 14-15ct), and could potentially have been converted at some point in time from a different type of jewellery. The ring's domed shape is hollow, and features two small holes to the reverse from when it was originally made.
The ring weighs approx 2.4g and the face of the ring measures 14mm by 10mm and is approx 8mm deep.
Ring size - UK M 1/2/US 6.25
Condition - The ring is in excellent antique condition and shows very little sign of wear. Often enamelling is damaged in older pieces but this ring has been very well looked after, only showing slight marks to the enamel in places which are hardly noticable.
This ring would make a beautiful 'something blue' for a bride on her wedding day. We do recommend that extra care is taken when wearing this ring as knocks and scrapes can damage the enamel.
