This antique 9ct gold belcher chain ring likely started life as part of a long necklace. At some point in time, a small section of the chain has been taken and soldered together to create an unusual chain ring. We love that is has movement in the chain still!
The ring is made of 9ct gold, unhallmarked but tested. The chain is likely Victorian in age, the ring has been made using the chain at a later date (not by us, we found it as a ring already).
The ring makes such a good stacking ring too, so it plays very well with other stackers and also looks lovely when worn alone. It could even be an interesting choice for an alternative style wedding ring!
Ring size - approx a US 4 / approx a UK H 1/2
The ring weighs approx 0.9g and the belcher link is approx 3mm wide.
Condition - The chain of the ring is in good antique condition but does show some signs of age and wear including some surface wear to the gold. Please see photos.
