Here's what's inside box five of our 12 Days of Christmas (or Charm-mas if you will!) Advent Calendar... an antique gold wishbone charm decorate with a sparkling garnet and what looks a lot like mistletoe - we like to think it's symbolising a wish for a Christmas kiss! The charm is available at the special festive discounted price until we open box seven tomorrow at 6pm GMT (7th December 2022) too.

The charm is made of 9ct gold and is marked '9ct' to the back. Without hallmarks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it's likely circa 1900-1910 in age.

The charm is wonderfully detailed to the front and features a lovely claw set garnet in the centre. The back of the charm has been left plain and the charm is hollow in the middle.

The charm measures approx 31.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 21mm wide by approx 3mm deep and weighs approx 1g in total.

Condition - The charm is in good antique condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold and garnet. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
