A popular motif in antique jewellery, and jewellery still made today, this beautiful flower ring would make a lovely engagement ring for the bride looking for something a little bit different.
Set with 8 rose cut diamonds, the centre of the flower is marked with a dazzling green emerald.
The ring's shank is made from 18ct yellow gold. We haven't tested the ring's face, as we didn't want to cause any damage, but we believe the stones are set in silver. The ring is hallmarked for 18ct, and looks to have the maker's mark M&M (this mark is a little worn).
The flower measures approx 11mm by 10mm and the ring weighs approx 2.5g.
Ring size - UK O/US 7
Condition - The ring is in overall good antique condition. The shank only shows minor signs of wear and under close magnification, the emerald shows slights signs of wear. One of the diamonds is set at a slightly different angle to the others, we're not sure if this has been reset or a replacement at some point in time, but the stone is secure. Please note that these diamonds are hand cut, so they all differ slightly in shape and size.
