We love the classic, romantic style of heart jewellery and this antique charm/pendant is sure to be a timeless beauty for many more years to come. Made of a gorgeous buttery yellow 15ct gold, the heart is set with three little sead pearls and as some sweet engraved detail too.
The heart has British hallmarks to the back for what looks to be the maker 'H' (this mark is not partially rubbed away'. It also has hallmarks for 15ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'y' for 1898.
The charm measures approx 14mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.2mm wide by approx 4.2mm deep and the charm weighs approx 1g in total. The heart is hollow in the middle and there are two small airholes to the back from when the charm was made.
Condition - The charm is in good antique condition considering its age but it does show signs of age and wear including surface wear to the gold and seed pearls. There are some indents to the gold to the back of the heart. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and is also marked for 15ct gold. Please see photos.
